Douglas M. Sweet sculpts glass paperweights and orbs, handblowing and sandblasting pieces with swirls of color.

A NICHE Award winner, Douglas has participated in Buyers Market shows and has taken part in numerous exhibitions, including the New Glass Review 10 at the Corning Museum of Glass in Corning, New York.

Douglas graduated from Tulane University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. After attending Kent State University where he did graduate work, Douglas opened his studio, Karuna Glass, in 1973 in Lowell, Ohio. He is also a member of the Ohio Designer Craftsmen.
