Charlton Glassworks is a family owned and operated glass studio located in the Pacific Northwest. Their goal is to design and produce a line of functional glass art that maintains a high standard of quality and appeal. Aside from focusing on design they are highly committed to quality control, customer service, and shipping schedule. Functional glass art, featuring hand-cut metal inclusions fused between glass layers is available in Copper, Brass, and Steel. Copper yields an array of fiery reds, terra's, copper/gold, with some black and grey around the edges. Brass has a goldish appearance and some hues of green throughout. Steel, results in a mixture of ebony and greyish silvers. With a combined history of almost a century within the glass industry, this Mother and Son's team continues to evolve the art of fusing hand-cut metals between layers of glass. The recent expansion into metal works has allowed the family to further push the element of design and functionality of their art. Sandie Charlton, founded Charlton Glassworks in 1998 as an outlet for her creative impulse. An initial marketing and sales venture throughout local craft festivals was all this wonderful product needed. Although a continued presence within a few local craft festivals, Charlton Glassworks has shifted the marketing focus towards international wholesale shows across the Nation
