We are the original downtown Contemporary Art Glass
and Fine American Crafts Gallery on the St. Petersburg, Fl PIER. We have
been here for over twenty-two years.
We have hand picked exceptional glass by inspired artists. Original, one
of a kind, perfume bottles, paperweights, stemware, vases & ornaments
are just a few of the things that are guaranteed to please even the most
discriminating collector.
As a former artist and craftsperson I make sure the gallery represents
up and coming American artists who have original vision and mastery of
their craft as well as those with established reputations. Some of Florida's
top artist began with us and I expect to continue supporting innovative
talent.
In representing over 250 American artists, we are dedicated to a creative
dialogue enhancing our client's artistic experience of handmade artworks.
We educate through our personal knowledge base of each artist and with
videos or pictorial presentations of the artist creative and technical
processes unique to their particular medium.
It is important to us that our gallery is a rich artistic
environment for customers and artists alike, to come, to share and to
express themselves. We hope they leave knowing each art piece is an expression
in itself, beyond the object it seems to be. It is with this effort that
we cultivate many new collectors both American and international.
As an American Craft Gallery we have added to our glass art, raku pottery,
handcrafted jewelry, pewter and metal art as well as a lot of fun things.
We
are members of the American Craft Council and we are an AmericanStyle
Preferred Gallery. Locally we are part of the Downtown Arts Association
which has a 2nd Saturday Gallery Walk.
Glass at the Pass our second gallery that was open for three years is
now an on line gallery while John's Pass is under construction. www.GlassatthePass.com
Dale Chihuly for sale in our gallery.
CRYSTAL MIRAGE GALLERY is the original Art Glass Gallery on the St. Pete
Pier. We have been in business for over 22 years. We are thrilled to have
Dale Chihuly opening right down the street here in St. Petersburg. He
has done so much for the “Art Glass Movement” with his great
PR and TV shows and beautiful art glass installations. He has educated
our potential buyers. Isn't St. Pete Great!

Narrative, often satirical, clay sculpture fired in raku–or embracing the philosophy thereof. Parameters are defined when producing the work, but allowing a dialogue with the fire leaves room for the unexpected, and opens one to the possibility of divergent results. The fire has the final word.
